Extinct
We saved pandas, elephants, and bald eagles...can't we save newspapers from extinction? I think my blogging friends could put together a newspaper that every one would want to read! Hey Saucy, you are the entertainment editor,
Rebecca gets international news, Cha Cha gets op-ed,Marsha covers the arts, and Rochelle is the tech wiz!
I would pay $10.00 an issue for that kind of news!!!

Loose our newspapers? We cannot let that happen. I have so many great memeories of reading the Sunday paper in my gown, in the living room, having the best time... no, we can't loose our newspapers... ~PJ

I work at a newspaper and it is very scary not knowing how
long we will be producing newspapers.
i love this picture and the sentiment that goes with it.
Save the Newspaper!!!!!!
I'll take it! I would love to work on your newspaper, Linda. You would have the best ideas of what's newsworthy of anyone I know.
And besides the horrific thought of not having the papers to read, I am greatly going to miss the last minute wrapping paper, art blotter, packing material, pirate hats, silly putty transfers, and fish wrappers. Sad to see it all go.
Hi Linda! OK, I'm always commenting on old posts. Sorry! I found a great article on stuff to do, see, eat in DC. Am I too late to send it to you? Or I could bring it to Kane this weekend, if you are coming. Also, in the South Bend Tribune today, there was an article about a Big Boy statue being stolen over the weekend...don't worry, though, your secret is safe with me!! Ha. Let me know re: the article. xo -- Sandy/rhubarb reign
Hello Linda,
I think you got the perfect idea!

Sweeeet! That means I get to cover the Oscars. For reals! Not just in my own head.
Methinks it is bloggers like us that are driving newspapers and our beloved mags to extinction! Oh, the humanity!
Unfortunately some of the papers aren't very interesting these days. I still love the New York Times though. Where else can we midwesterners read about fashion week and the shops in SoHo. xo Joan
Op-ed? I am so honored!
I'm with you - the loss of newspapers seems insane, and yet I've been getting all my news online for a while now. Hypocritical? Yes.
