Perhaps this is my cholesterol talking, but I find these unused fried chicken buckets quite charming! I think they will make the perfect gift basket for the right recipient. I found the buckets in two different junk stores in Chicago, and believe it or not, they were all super inexpensive. I had a feeling that the shopkeepers were muttering "people will buy anything",as I left their shops.

And we will buy anything...cause we are creative and repurpose things. I have gotten takeout boxes from oriental restaurants for different things. They gave them to me for free...

Oh, Matte & I would SO have bought those chicken buckets!!! We have some ice cream containers and cottage cheese ones, not to mention this giant green metal can that once held lard.
