Hey there Linda,I guess it's time for me to de-lurk and say Hi from New Zealand. It's not that I'm blog-shy,just I'm an incredibly incompetent typist.I've been reading your blog ever since I saw your wonderful home in ME Home Companion(I really miss it!)I also have a passion for collecting,mixed-media creating, decorating, but especially baking and cake decorating. Its the pictures of those gorgeous birdie cake picks that have brought me out of the woodwork.Wherever did you find them? They are FAB! B.T.W have you discoved "Bake it Pretty" and "FancyFlour" ;these sites have wonderful baking decs..Well.that's quite a mouthful from the one-fingered hunt&pecker, Cheers from the South Seas, Karen Brown..Wellington..New Zealand

Thanks for the nice comments!!!
Karen, My children can't stand to be in the same room with me while I am typing. I slowly search for each letter on the keyboard. I have been known to proclaim that our keyboard is missing a letter.
I love Fancy Flour and I am off to check out Bake it Pretty. Thank you for leaving such a lovely note!
Your Pal,
Linda

...I forgot to tell you that the birds are from Cynthia Rowley's line at Target a couple summers ago. They are actually hor d'oeuvres picks. I wish I had bought 100's of them!
