Lulu bought a pair of Levi's 501 Boyfriends Jeans this weekend. These may be the cutest jeans ever! As cute as they are, I was shocked at how much Levi's cost today, $79.00 for a pair of 501's!
I remember wearing Levi's red tagged 501's when I was in high school, over 100 years ago. On the days I wanted to breath, Levi's were a great alternative to Calvin Klein Jeans. I am guessing that Levi's cost about 15 cents back then. I'm feeling kind of Grampa-ish.

Wow, $79! I can't imagine paying that much! My favorite jeans are from Old Navy, usually $25 or $30.. much more in my price range!
If I could find a pair of jeans that are actually comfy and don't have that horrible stretchy stuff, I might be willing to pay that much...
Levi's probably last longer. I buy the Bill Blass stretchy ones and feel positively thrilled to get them for around 25-30 on sale. Only for the comfort..ahhh. Otherwise I would probably buy some from Wally world or Goodwill.

Ha! This made me laugh out loud. Yes, it was 100 years ago. And 501s were totally like 15 cents.
I recently scored a swell pair of jeans at Target for $30. Only time will tell how they wear, but so far, so good.
