Sticks And Stones
Beautiful stone paths and designs can be seen all around Shanghai, even the little mall near our home has a beautiful river stone floor. I can't wait to make my own stone walkway back in the U.S., I feel quite inspired!

Love love love these pics, Linda! Hope you are doing well!
Those rock. (Come on, someone had to say it!) Seriously, I am a sucker for stone walls and stone walks and cobblestones and flagstone paths and the rest of it.
Love the walkways.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing!
This is so serendipitous to find! Just last weekend I visited the Huntington Library here in Pasadena. It houses the original Blue Boy and Pinkie paintings and a copy of one of the first Gutenberg bibles. But this trip, we stayed outside in its many gardens. In the Chinese gardens, I took pictures very similar to these - the elaborate stone textures in the walkways, bamboo, and more. I'll be sharing those pictures soon on my blog but it was fun to see the "real thing" from the "real place" here on your blog!
