The Shanghai Fabric Market had been on my "to do" list since moving here, and I picked the hottest day of the summer to finally make the journey. It was an overwhelming experience of beautiful colors and patterns. I bought two silk pillows and I scoped out tailors to make some vintage inspired dresses for me. The prices are extremely reasonable and I may never buy off the rack again.

Hello Linda,
Thanks so much for sharing your findings in Shanghai!
These fabrics look amazing and I can't wait to see your dresses!

I am sooooo jealous. I would love to be in that fabric store. Show us what you bought and had made. That should be awesome.
I'm loving your Shanghi shopping stories! Makes me want to hop on a plane!
I recently went to the gigantic fabric market across the river! It puts this puny place to shame.
