Charles and Ray Eames
My son Deke has this chair in his bedroom, it is usually holding his folded clean clothes. My In-Laws gave us this chair from their vast collection of uber cool mid-century furniture. They appreciated the designs of Saarinen, and Charles and Ray Eames a half century ago! My husband grew up eating breakfast on Eero Saarinen's tulip chair and table.

It must have been wonderful to grow up with such "modern" furniture- I love those tulip chairs!
Oooooh how Ive missed visiting your blog. I took a peek over the post I've missed. I was captivated by all the activities. Tea with Fergie. Lemonade was a wise choice. A decision probably made by a mom who's little girl shot a spot of tea from her mouth too.
Sweet Wishes,
Sara

I am envious....very green right now...the jealousy has to stop here! You own a piece of design genius!
As a side note: may I have your permission to keep a link to your blog containing one of your photos? It is up on my blog - Just say the word and I'll remove it for you.
Thanks for sharing your artsy ways!!
*heehee!* that is so funny...my dad *had* to have one of those dang chairs - and the ottoman with it of course. And he knew not thing one about design, designers, or Mr. Eames. He got it because he'd heard it was the chair to have. The "it" chair! Can you believe it?
both are fantastic. So glad midcentury modern is all the rage again.
wow! your husband was lucky! my husband is a huge modern design collector, we have no shortage of chairs or clocks in our home! love the chair Christmas image.
