Flea Market Holiday

Estate sale find!

I love finding wreaths and ornaments that were made by Grandma
using tons of pins, pearls and sequins!

Plenty of broken bird ornaments to fill 1000 nests.

I collect these bowls made from greeting cards, they are the perfect container
to give cookies in.

Poor Santa has seen better days, he's chipping and crumbling.

Geez Linda!!! You hit the "Mother Lode" evidently! The first ornament is just a study in detail, isn't it? I sat here looking at all the work and the zillions of hours it must have taken to complete.... Like the wonderful old pieces of tatted edging for pillowcases, you wonder how many people realize how long it takes to create it. Just fascinating.
You collect the greatest things...

Old bling is so much better than new bling.

How I LOVE those! My favorites are definitely the beaded/sequined balls! So much prettier than new!

I want to go flea marketing with you!

I agree with Green Girl... old bling any day! That wreath must have taken some sweet little lady hours. Just imagine! I suppose she watched the Lawrence Welk show while she made it.

Love the finds! The more chipped and crumbling, the better if you ask me!
