Mystery
Does anyone recognize these??? I bought these at a junk shop last week and I am trying to get info on them. I know they are from the Rockford S.C.C. Company and they have Bakelite handles. I have tried looking for info in Art Deco, Modernist, Arts and Crafts and Prairie Style tea and coffee services, but I haven't been able to find anything. I also wonder if they ever had lids. I got really excited when I first saw them, they reminded me of things I had seen at Cranbrook in Michigan.

Cranbrook. Yet ANOTHER place I've not visited in my 8 yrs living here in MI.
Sorry, I've no clue as to your delightful mystery there. I would have been very excited too. They are so charming!
Gorgeous!
I am packing, sorting, organizing and generally running around like a chicken with her head cut off! We leave tomorrow afternoon and arrive at bedtime!
We are so looking forward to our visit with you... see you at the cafe at 9:30 Sunday! Can't wait.
xoxo

They're gorgeous! Could they be from the Rockford Silver Plate Company? See the silverplate mark here: http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_R.html
Thank you for the info, I will check it out!
I don't know anything about them- but they are WAY cool!
Hi Linda - I have the same pair including a matching tray. They were my grandmothers. I know nothing about them and was just checking the internet to see if I could find out something when I found your info. Will let you know if I find out anything.
