These are pictures from a little French party that Lulu had. The guests sampled French perfumes and dined on a little pastries and grape juice. I covered the table with real rose petals, a very economical table decoration.

Mmm! I love it! I vollunteer to cut out the Camembert next year! I remember vividly the first time I was in rural France on le quatorze Juillet. Here Queens day is celebrated with flea markets and drumbands in every nook of the country. Well let's say that the French probably had their festivities inside the house, maybe a little festive supper...What a bummer! But you had a great party AND share, thanks!

How totally adorable!!! I love Madeline. Unfortunately Miss B is too old to play with them, but I can't bear to part with them. We have a super large one, then the soft dressable ones...including all her friends, then then the smaller dressable ones with little cases and cute accessories. Sigh..sniff...I miss the days of scouting for cute new outfits for her. Thanks for bringing back the fond memories.
Linda, thought you might be interested to know that Cedric Smith is back blogging again. A case of burn out. ALSO, since we painted part of the house (inside) and had to move most of the stuff out, I want you to know you have influenced me in how things are put back. Much less for starters. Thanks for that.
