Alabaster Bird Baths
I started collecting these alabaster bird baths after I met my Mother-In-Law, Ann. She was very creatively using one as a soap dish in her guest bathroom twenty some years ago. I started seeing these bird baths at flea markets and junk stores in varying stages of decrepitude. I find them today in swankier stores with higher price tags, but I did recently luck out on Etsy, and I am awaiting my newest addition to the collection!

Beautiful--I could see those as soap dishes!
Hi Linda! Hope this finds you doing awesome! I have to tell you that I pulled out my HC magazine the other day and read the fabulous and fun article about you. What an honor to be featured in such a delightful magazine.
Love these swanky bird baths! I have never seen one before, but will certainly keep my eyes peeled for them now.
Happy weekend to you! Any treasure hunting in the plans?
smiles,
Becky
I am always treasure hunting!
you have the coolest collections. i love these..
my daughter was born in 1999. how fun they were born on the same day :)
keep posting those collections!
AND- if you ever sell jewelry at a show or craft fair- iron boards are a very good height to display it. Customers don't have to lean over so far to look at the jewelry, so their backs don't hurt, so they stay and buy more! (Well, that's my theory)
HI I HAVE A THE EXAT SAME BIRD BATH WOULD YOU BE INTRESTED IN BUYING IT IF SO EMAIL ME AT RUNETY@HOTMAIL.COM THANKS
