Pumpkin Soup

The temperature has taken a plunge today, it is the perfect weather for soup. I am going to try my hand at recreating the most delicious pumpkin soup we ever had, it was at a restaurant in the King's Garden at Versailles. The pumpkins were grown at Le Potager du Roi, a working garden for the restaurants at Versailles. Dessert will obviously have to be cake.

Oh, don't you wish you could have been there when they dusted the sheep pink or blue for Marie? At least that's what our tour guide told us they did whenever she wanted to go out and pretend to be a farmer for the day. He said they supposedly would also tie matching bows on their necks. Now, I could be that kind of farmer too!

Enjoy your cake!

If I had sheep they would always be pink or blue with giant bows.
