if i were to attempt a grass sofa...mine would be much browner! needless to say...i don't have a green thumb! :)
I saw a picture like this in a magazine a few years ago. The guy had done this on the front side of his home and it made his yard look like a little living room.
I have a feeling this is what the furniture looks like in the Hobbit homes that I blogged about last week. Imagine getting cozy on this while watching TV. Not so sure about that...;0D

Wow, that is one crazy idea.
Grass stains, yes. Still fabulous? Most definitely.
However would you do this? Do you have a plan?
Do you remember the lead singer from the Talking Heads? He had a suit made of lawn, that must have been bad to dry clean.
Do you think there is any loose change in that sofa??
