Stuart Haygarth
Stuart Haygarth is a British artist who makes the coolest light installations using common materials. Who knew that discarded eyeglasses could look so delicate and beautiful?
I am trying my hand at making a recycled material chandelier this summer. I will keep you posted on my progress.

WOW!
I love these! Especially the first one - I never would have guessed what it was made from.
Good luck with your project.
Can't wait to see what you come up with! xo Joan
super cool...i love to see how artists are able to use "trash" to create wonderful unique pieces!
I am slowly working on a altered water bottle chandelier myself. I really do dig the sunglasses one though. Great use for those that are scratched up or you don't want to wear anymore.
Those are SOOO super cool! I can't wait to see what you come up with!! xox...jenn

I for one cannot wait to see what you come up with because you are a fabulous collector with a great eye... this should be very interesting to follow.
I think I like the eyeglass light the best.
Wow! Those lights are beautiful -- the bottle bottoms look like jellyfish! Will look forward to seeing yours! xo -- Sandy/rhubarb reign
Who da thunk it? The lights are so cool!

Waaaaay COOL!
Thanks for the cool pics--cupcakes, lights out o' junk...so cool to see what happens when people open theirs minds and let the ideas fall out.
Linda- Thanks for stopping by. I am in LOVE with the chair now that it is done. I will have to put up a picture of it...I too am making 2 recycled type lights for my kitchen- using old planter baskets and some silver spoons and prisms...I need to get the light fixture parts from IKEA next week and then I can hang them! What's yours like?
