Happy Birthday to your Dad! I had an unusual experience about a year ago that undeniably proved to my husband and I that are loved ones are still here with us in some ways. I think they join in on the celebrations so I am sure he enjoyed his special French Feast. What a lovely way to remember and celebrate someone.
I am wondering if that is Julia Child's Boeuf Bourguignon or is it a family recipe of yours? It all looks delicious, and a wonderful tradition.

What a clever way to celebrate your dad. It's so hard to lose a loved one....I lost my dad in 2003. He was to young to go and it's tough when that time of year or his birthday comes around. I think this year I may do exactly this type of celebrate. That is DEFINITELY something he would have loved!
