Deke's 11.5 and Economy Flowers

The plants in our urns were on their last leg and I needed to replace them,
so I made a croquet mallet bouquet.
I have actually never purchased a croquet set,
they have all been found at the curb!

Today we are celebrating Deke's 11 1/2 Birthday!
Do you celebrate Half Birthdays?

Can I steal this idea, blog about it, and link to your post about it. Wow! I hope you say yes. This is so cute. Pretty please!

Wicked cute idea with those mallets! Perhaps you should look for cast off umbrellas for early spring?

That's a great cake for the half-occasion!

If I can eat cake, I will certainly begin to celebrate half birthdays! In fact, I may start to celebrate quarter-birthdays.

Half-birthdays are the sweetest? My friend Amy celebrates her own, all to herself with a little splurge. A tradition worth starting for oneself, don't you agree??
