Hammer Time
I picked up this giant hammer at the flea market this weekend, it is an old advertisement from a hardware store. I have a weakness for this type of advertising, I have a giant pair of eyeglasses in the garden and an enormous fork in the dining room. I would love to find a huge shoe for our foyer.

Gianormously Good, that hammer!
I drool every single time I see that Church Bulletin watchamajigger cabinet. You are brilliant, Linda C!
Were you there? Where was I?
Ditto on the church bulletin cabinet. I can only imagine how heavy that hammer must be.
Joan- Your booth had been abandoned, Lulu and I doddled around waiting for you. I also couldn't find our friends Sandy and Joe!
Oh my gosh! I love that hammer. I also love the large things used as advertisement. You scored BIG, Linda! Congrats. ~PJ
Love the hammer, Linda! How could you resist?
Really cool..... it fits so well with your decor!
Hugs!
Ohhhhhhhh those old fisher price people in your banner had me fall in love with your blog before I even looked at it. What memories they bring back. Love, love, love vintage!!

A giant ANYTHING is fun. But giant eyeglasses would always make me think of F. Scott Fitzgerald's book The Great Gatsby. The English teacher in me cannot ignore symbolism.
of course i adore it! i adore that teeny red phone even more! sooo cute.
if you like BIG things...i have a big ol' stack of bills that would look darling next to the hammer. no? okay...thought i'd try.
love that hammer and this space, REALLY well done! thanks for stopping by.... I thought those rooms were so cool too!
and they say size doesn't matter...I'm loving it.
