The ever so clever and creative Saucy at Bloggedy Blog Blog made some very poignant observations about the American political process. I was shocked to read the amount of negative and quite hateful comments she received as a result. Her biggest crime? Saucy is a Canadian, and according to some misguided folks in America, she does not have the right to make such comments about our government. When will we realize that we are not alone on this planet? We need to respect the opinions of others and give a hoot what the world thinks!

It's time the US should care very much what the rest of the world thinks of us. It's been a long, long time since we have been viewed so negatively, so doubtfully, with so little confidence and offering so little hope for the future. I was very moved to see the positive reaction to Obama's election in all parts of the world last night and believe it is the first step in getting us back in the good graces of our global family.
