Chairs

We collect children's chairs in blues and greens. These little chairs make a perfect little end table during parties.

We also collect little dollhouse chairs in blues and green.
I like to display these on the moldings around the house.

These doll chairs are perfectly dilapidated!

We also look for bigger doll chairs in different shades of white.

I adore your chairs--all of them! And I'm still laughing over your comment from my galette post! Too funny!

I'm in love with chairs as well, and collected bunches when we lived in France. (They were so cheap and gorgeous!) Now it's my favorite thing for my husband to grumble about--a house full of broken down chairs and no place to sit!
Oh how I wish we were neighbors!

PS I'm in the bed sick with my laptop today, but I knew your blog would cheer me up!

If you ever decide to branch out your collection in a modern way...the MOMA online store has miniature chairs for sale - oops! I just double-checked and they are rather cost-prohibitive *heh* O well fun to look at anyway. Teeny-tiny Eames chairs and such. funsy wunsy.

I have a friend that hasn't met a chair she doesn't like. They are adorable and I completely understand her fascination.

I LOVE your chair collection(s). They are so compelling, and I too love small chairs, especially. I alas, only have two but I adore them. One is a rattan child's chair, the other tortoise shell bamboo.... It's like having a small scale architectural piece I suppose.... just intriguing and sweet all at the same time. Thanks for showing yours!

Those small chairs are sweet! Are they 1:12 scale?

You already know I love the chairs! I envy your collection. I have no room currently to expand mine, so I will live vicariously through your's. So lovely!

Jolie collection de petites chaises !
Moi aussi j'ai quelques chaises d'enfants :

La place me manque pour en rechercher de nouvelles. D'autant que j'ai tendance à collectionner beaucoup d'autres choses !
