Crack Problem???

We are well into cracked thumb season! Working with paints and glues only seems to worsen the condition of cracked fingers in the winter. I have been trying liquid Band Aids this year, but it's not doing much good. Do you have any winter creams that you swear by???

I've heard that "bag balm" is very good -

I've used bag balm and LOVE it--there's also a brand of it sold at Target called "Udderly Smooth" it's sold in a cow-printed container. It's not greasy and very effective.
Good luck resisting the clearance sales racks!

My mom has this same problem, but canning season is what kills her the most! I laughed when I came into this comment section because I was going to suggest Bag Balm too. Burt's Bees has some super heavy creams that seem to work well too.
Good luck sticky fingers!

I use the burts bees almond milk hand creme, works pretty good and smells good enough to eat.

I'm a fan of The Body Shop's hemp hand cream. It's very rich and comes in a cool metal tube. Because the packaging is just as important as the stuff inside. :)

Well, CA doesn't really have winter or the dry skin that comes with it but I have two lotions I swear by. The first is a little risque because it is made from hemp and has a giant hemp leaf on the bottle, but I promise, you won't get arrested or high from using it. It's called Hempz and is made by Supre. Smells wonderful too! I have bought it at beauty supply stores and tanning salons. The other is called Cowboy Magic and I bought it from a friend that ran a tack and feed store. It is the best to heal already very dry cracked skin. It has a website - cowboymagic.com.
