Bird Shrine
Thanks to some nudging from Farmer Julie, I am back in the business of making shrines. I use only vintage flea market items and ephemera in making them. I actually have lots of fun creating these little vignettes and using my many found treasures. This bird shrine consists of a wooden dollhouse armoire, 1959 flash cards, 1890's color plate, vintage chalk ware bird, and a 1928 True Confessions magazine. I hope you like it!

Hello Linda,
I love this!

It's fantastic! I'm so glad you're back to making shrines. I ADORE mine and it makes my world a better place.
...I can't help thinking that you and your family might enjoy owning an actual bird...
* : )
They are inexpensive to keep and a joy to watch and listen to. I have a little australian parrot, but non-parrot birds such as finches, some doves, canaries, and parakeets all make fine little pets! Just a thought.
I can't own anything else that poops.
Thanks Elma for picking up the shrine in my Etsy shop.
