I love old crackly chippy dolls and doll heads. I am fully aware that there are just two types of people when it comes to such matters. I fall into the group of people who find dolls and doll heads cool and then there is the other group, 99% of you who find them quite creepy. What do you think, creepy or cute?

Cute!! Though I have to admit that I have no connection whatsoever with oriental stuff (unless those are imitations of Western things). So I really should say: Cute, no-no, cute!
I don't know if I think they are cute so much as I think they are interesting. I am always curious about what people created years ago. Their ideas about what dolls or other items should look like is fascinating to me.

Okay, I have to admit, if I stumbled on one in the hallway at night, laying abandoned in the dark-CREEPY!
I consider them crute! Definitely a cross between creepy and cute. I adore them, but wouldn't want one in my house. Crazy!

Their charm has to do with the fact that they are both creepy and cute...A very vintage-type combo, it seems. Love the doll heads. I had a small collection once, then their chipped little heads finally started to freak me out...and I had to hide them somewhere!
Can we vote cute AND a little creepy? I find some creepy things cute, and a couple of those qualify. I'd LOVE to display those in my house!
It's all about the eyes. If the eyes are sweet, they are cute otherwise, a bit creepy. Creepy can be fun though (in a creepy sort of way LOL!)

Hi Linda! I think they are terrific, especially in a group. Some of them are quite beautiful, others are a little macabre. But we sell tons of them, especially from our gallery space. I love creepy dolls, I think they are cute, of course I have my own collection, several that I got from you! I have a legless doll in my group:)
I have a collection of three of these little ladies each wearing a little paper chemise. I think they wish the dressers were a little longer. They look like I feel when I where a too small paper frock while waiting in the doctor's office.
Cute! Cute! Cute! These so remind me of going to my grandmother's house. Lovely.
