Pretty and Yummy

One of my favorite sandwiches is a brie, apple and apricot sandwich. Lulu and I dined on these while making our Valentine cards.
I like to use soft breadsticks cut lengthwise, I think the slender sandwich looks so pretty, but you can use any bread.
Spread on brie and apricot jam and add thin slices of apples.
If you cut the finished sandwich on the diagonal into bite size pieces, you have a perfect party appetizer.
Eat.

I will have to try that because Brie is my FAV in the whole wide world. Not so good for my figure but who cares. Now I want some.

My all time favorite brand of jam. Love the wild blueberry, love the jars to store stuff, or making string holders. Now I have to have one of those sandwiches... ~PJ

The brie is what would do me in!

Try dumping 1/2 a jar of apricot jam on the brie, wrapping it in Phylo paper, brush the paper with melted putter, bake it at 350 for 20 minutes -- yummy cracker spread.

I have never grown grass inside or collected little crowns or color coded my books, but since meeting you I have decided these are all "must do's" and I have a checklist developing. I have not ever eaten brie, not once, have no idea what to expect. One would think with all of the shmancy Hollywood parties I've been to I would have had to have tried it sometime. But no. Maybe we are not so shmancy out here in LA. So, after reading your mouth watering post, I have decided to try this. I will go to the market and gather needed supplies and think of you as I expand my taste bud horizons. It sounds so elegant! I need some elegance.
