This Lifesaver's candy display from an old candy shop was the perfect flea market find for all of my cupcake decorations. I snazzied up the beige sides with bottle caps.
The green mantle was once a crate used to store props for the
Lyric Opera of Chicago.
This is also looks wonderful lined with little white votive candles during dinner parties.
This long birdhouse was the perfect find for a little nook in our foyer. The kids hang their wet coats and scarves from the perches.
Deke's desk and chalkboard map make his room the perfect homework spot.
Here are a few of my favorite flea market finds for your perusal.

Linda,
I do love your junk style. I may have to follow your tracks at a flea...leave me some crumbs, please!
Peace,
Ki
It looks like you've found some pretty wonderful things. The mantel piece is great!
You are the queen of junkers! You always find such great things! And I wouldn't have minded seeing your church board again - I love it.
Great stuff....I especially like the map and the globes on the desk!

OH! You did a fantastic job reusing that lifesavers rack for your cupcake decor!! It is sooooo awesome finding those old advertisement displays, huh??!! That bottle cap collection is really fun looking....so many vibrant colors! Are those bottle caps around the mirror above the green mantle, too? LOVE IT!
And that sweet sink display.....:)!

Christina
You are the Flea Queen. Or, Queen of Fleas... does that sound bad??
Now, a cupcake decoration center... that is right up my alley. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for something like that. Buddy Budderson got me a vintage display from a long-defunct auto supply store that was owned by the family my alma mater was named for - very cool. I have vintage parmesan cheese sprinkle containers filled with glitter lining it... but now I want to ditch the glitter, and add sprinkles, moving it to the kitchen.
Or possibly, I could just find something else??
Lots of wonderful finds!! I just love that desk in your son's room. I don't know that I've ever seen one shaped like that before. I love it!! :)

Wonderful vintage! This is my first offering for Flea Market Finds, but I have posted about some other awesome findings on my blog. It's been great fun to find other bloggers who love to treasure hunt as much as I do :-)

Love the chalkboard map.
What great finds you have! I don't believe I have seen the church board...can you show it again?
LOL I think it would be difficult to take a bath with that girl sitting there staring at me.

Not that it's ever easy to choose a favorite piece, when looking at the treasures you have collected in your home, but I am a huge sucker for tramp art. Isn't it wonderful to see the resourcefulness of someone talented, turned into something so intriguing and once again, useful? You have a great 'eye' Miss Linda!
Just love all of the wonderful wooden dolls you have there on the mantel!

P.S.
I just added two new tiny porcelain dolls to my Etsy shop, I remember you asked about them when I did a post on them!
Hello Linda,
Love all these displays!
