Esther
Saucy is giving away this lovely bear on her blog. Esther's story is like so many other star struck bears who moved to Hollywood in the 1930's, only finding work peddling candy or cigarettes in swanky nightclubs.

I told Saucy it is so appropriate to talk about Esther's life as tomorrow is National Teddy Bear Day! It is a bit sad thought when you realize an inanimate (but admittedly very cute) object has a more exciting life than you (meaning me). It seems Esther's been around the block. Hope she didn't have any casting couch experiences to hide in the closet should they show her Biography on A&E. I'm sure Esther was a proper bear lady.

Esther looks delicious in sepia tone... why didn't I think of that? Because she was yak-yakking away about lunch with Doris Day at a little bistro and the waiter asking for an autograph...
