Pretty candies line the plates
Cover the table in fragrant rose petals
When LuLu was in elementary school we had a little French tea party for a few of her friends. I put every little perfume sample bottle I had on a cake plate and let the kids find a scent they liked. I blanketed the table with rose petals, I think I only used two roses to cover the entire table. The girls felt tres chic sipping grape juice from their glasses and drinking hot cocoa from little cups. I had so much more energy then!

I guess we have never been very much into tea parties but we were so good with "dinette". What happened to us...?

What a sweet surprise of confections.
I searched high and low for Eiffel towers (like your centerpiece) at the Seattle trade show...not one, jewelry on the other hand was tricky but I found a few treasures.

A French tea party is such a glamorous idea, oh you!!! Did you work with that toile paper? I've been eyeing it for a while.
Guess what? Loopy's coming! We organized it today, we were able to get her on the same flight as us - not easy during peak season! She is super pumped. Sunday brunch sounds awesome. I am going to try to book a few other things for her and I to do over the weekend too. Art Institute on Friday, for instance.
I am also going to check into the new photo studio at AG place. She had her magazine cover photo taken last time and lurrves it. It looks on the website they're up to new things there so I am off to check it out.
