Saturdays
Saturdays are busy here, Lulu has guitar lessons and then we jump on the train and head downtown. We meet my husband, Mr. Man at his store and we might have a bite in his cafe. Then we head over to Second City for Lulu's improv class, this is her second year there and she loves it! Deke and I walk over to the Lincoln Park Zoo for an hour of funky smells. Mr. Man picks us all up after Lulu's class and we try to find a new place to eat. It is so much fun to be in the city this time of year, the city looks beautiful all lit up and it gets dark here around 4:40pm. The weather is not gruesome yet, so a stroll around the city is downright lovely! Although it is a little hectic we always look forward to our saturdays.

Gar is the G.M. of American Girl.
Linda,
Your post sent shivers down my spine. I lurrve Chicago on Saturdays. Guess what? I will be there four Saturdays from now! I wonder if you would like to meet up? How fun would that be? I can ditch Veto for a little while ;)
Saucy
Sounds wonderful!!!
Oh, guess what? I talked with Veto tonight and he is on board with bringing Loopy along with us again... she lurrves her visits to AG and she has been dying to see the new location. At 13, she is still into it... and I'm glad of it. Her Canadian friends don't get it, of course. They flipped out when they met her Just Like Me Doll... that was the cutest day ever when Veto picked it out for her in the NYC store.
American Girl?!? Last week I booked dinner there for my soon-to-be-6-year-old's birthday. I can't wait! We're bringing all the women and girls in the family.
