Making Valentine Cards
Lulu spent the weekend making her Valentine cards. She used old sheet music, charms, buttons, stamps, you name it! We ate little brie and apple sandwiches with apricot jam, the perfect food for this special occasion.
Do you make your own cards?

How fun!
I LOVE that mirror! It makes me happy!
When my daughter was younger we'd make cards, but the others just wanted them from the store. Boo hoo.
I don't make my own cards but I am interested in the sandwiches you were eating....sounds delish! Are they on bread?
Wow!! Love those valentine cards and food... Great job!!
WOW! Love your decorating. The vintage valentines around the mirror is genius!! Lulu's valentines are adorable!! I am working on some valentine projects at the moment, but I really need to make a few cards.
I don't but I should, I know my girls would love to~ great idea,Thanks :)
I REALLY love your Valentine decorated mirror~ so cute!
Those are some cool cards--the vintage ones are so much cuter than the ones I buy for the boys at the five and dime.
Oh I love the vintage cards. They are soo nice. Where do you find them?
OOOOOOOh, how I wished that I'd kept the Valentines from my childhood!!! I now have to buy the images on Etsy!!
I do love creating V-day cards or tags. What great fun you two must have had.
I would like to try making your sandwiches. Did you use a specific bread or roll...like a brioche? Could you share your recipe?
I've got my lunch (pasta salad),a cup of tea and now I'm going to read all your post I've missed.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
I will post the recipe on Wednesday. Thanks so much!!!

Your daughter has the best mom in the world . . . what a dreamy weekend. I'm still available for adoption.

Those cards are wonderful, and how great to make an event of it! When my kids were little we always made a project of making valentine's - I think everyone swapping the same store bought ones is kind of ridiculous.
How fun! I have been busy making valentines too! Melinda
Found you from Artsy Mama.....what a nice giveaway--I love your style. The vintage valentines on the mirror is a great look. Your cards came out nicely also.
Whoops---I meant swap partner.
